South Jersey Junior Golf Foundation
The South Jersey Junior Golf Foundation was founded in 1998 by Bob Lennon, a certified PGA Teaching Professional, and Doug Shiner
a Teacher and Golf Coach at Oakcrest High School. In SJJGF’s short 9 years has helped over 10,000 kids at many levels. Many of the
kids are just given a place to play and compete in an organized tournament format called Tour at the Shore. A few of the other programs
have been embraced by youth organizations such as Police Athletic Leagues, Family Service Associations, Boys and Girls Clubs, LPGA-USGA
Girls Golf Club, The Boy Scouts of America, area City Boards of Recreation, Galloway Township Middle Schools, and numerous other youth
organizations.
The SJJGF allows kids a playground to learn a lifetime sport and absorb the life skills that are taught by the game
itself. By allowing children to participate in the SJJGF programs it teaches them confidence, honesty, integrity, and discipline just
name a few.
Our goal is to be able to provide quality instruction to the juniors, while teaching them the like skills connected with
golf, in a fun wholesome environment for low cost to the children
